I am right now thinking again about the Atomic future of many distros. I tried Bazzite and a few other distros on Steam Deck LCD. I would like Atomic when SDDM, so the login manager, does not get skipped at all and has a selector for SteamDeck Mode, Xorg and Wayland - so login for safety and lastly the proper audio drivers. When I tried Bazzite, apart from gamemode crashing on first bootup-setup, the audio is not the same as Nobara and probably Arch. I did not go far enough on endeavour os since I dont like to google package group names to install gaming packages needed for steam and then Steam Deck dependencies to have all features work flawlessly. Having normal programs outside flathub, not run on the lowest level of the OS is a nice idea.
