YReporting back for those interested: Lossless Scaling does work, but it's not optimal in every game I've tried. It effectively boosts fps, but it's not without compromises (some ghosting, noticeable input latency). I guess it's a useful tool for mainly very heavy games that need every single bit of performance boost you can mange to get, but games that already play reasonably well probably are fine without it.

YGuys does anyone know how to fix this: When I'm in desktop mode, I can't return to gaming mode. When I click the shortcut, it just reboots the device into desktop mode. Same when I press logout in the start menu. Only way to get to gaming mode is to completely power down the device...
TI used it in Talos Principle 2, it was pretty neat

Dhad a quick q, if anyone knows the answer. I was dual booting Bazzite and Windows 10 on my AMD PC (just the one ssd - so did the manual partitioning on it). I dont need Windows anymore as I use bazzite more now and all my stuff works.
As the btrfs root drive is set to read-only, if I was to nuke my Windows install, update grub etc, can I extend my bazzite partition to use all my disk space or will I need to nuke the PC, fresh install etc.

NWe typically don't recommend dual booting on a single drive because operations like this can be risky. There may be more folks in here that have more experience with BTRFS, but my recommendation is it would be simplest to back up your data and do a reinstall. Others may have better suggestions than me on this one.
ABackup your data and yolo
AUbuntu live cd + gparted should do the trick

KWe recommend separate drives because Windows has a habit of eating the bootloader

AHey guys. Getting the "fatal error" when installing Bazzite on Legion Go. This happens when I either resize Windows partition in the GUI or resize it in Windows first, then install to the free space.

AI'm not sure the exact error, it just says fatal error when deploying. This happens like 30 seconds into the install process. I give it 300gb free space

Kgonna be the generic deploy error from the sound of it. @ajthenoob You can try a stock Fedora silverblue/kinoite installer and then a rebase, but I suspect you will get a similar error with those
KHey I think it's a bit too much to layer the whole qemu-kvm setup, even bazzite gives a warning, that it slows down the update/upgrade time.
So I know there is the gnome boxes flatpak, but the problem is, it doesn't allow usb passthrough. And for a shared folder or filetransfer, you need to layer spice iirc.

Hey I also read older messages from you and you said you even use a distrobox for steam, that way you don't have to layer steam devices and stuff, do you still do this? If yes, do you have a distrobox recommendation for Games?

KI did this on stock silverblue, but Bazzite layers steam so there's no reason to do that now
KI do still maintain bazzite-arch for other distros to use
