In Bazzite we rely on adding things to initramfs for the user, this is done by bazzite-hardware-setup and because the rpm-ostree initramfs command overwrites any previous arguments with the new ones and it is also picky with formatting (you can get the current initramfs arguments from rpm-ostree status | grep -A 4 "●" as opposed to rpm-ostree in...
Dah i think i answered my own question, again using this article i found that kargs are also set in bazzite-hardware-setup, and it looks like you keep the old kargs and just remove/append whatever is needed per update, preserving user configurations, nice: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/blob/main/system_files/desktop/shared/usr/libexec/bazzite-hardware-setup#L191

LQuick question if anybody is on. Steam is running but doesn't seem to show any GUI. I tried pulling up the library but nothing.

KI've had that happen before where steam just shits the bed for no reason. Open your task manager and kill any steam process, then relaunch

LWelp, fingers-crossed and knock on wood. Bazzite has been a WAY better experience than Nobara so far. In terms of the desktop experience and responsiveness, it's been a huge pleasure.

KWe added a patched switcheroo a while back which should be making the integrated vs dgpu selector function properly
