AWhile on Bazzite ram is maxed out and the fps can't get past 22 fps, on SteamOs the ram usage is around 12/13 gb and at 30 fps

VI can concur that performance usage is definitely higher on the Steam Deck
VI get stutter sometimes just existing in the menus, or even in GBA games
CYes. Though in the past I've wiped the drive and installed from scratch, and that still didn't work. Now that I know it's fixed with a remount, I might be able to create a startup script that does it for me on boot. It doesn't fix the problem, but it will at least alleviate it.
AThe new SteamOs update does/will use zram, so it's not that either
Dfido2 yubikey has been working out great on my steam deck, but cant help but wonder, how can i be even lazier about it without compromising security. Anybody try out tpm2 with pcr measurements? am wondering how these would work out on bazzite
Dsomeone was asking earlier what the point of secure boot was, i guess using tpm2 with pcr 7 is a another good example of what it might be useful for if anything. Set secure boot to on, set luks encryption to decrypt with tpm, include pcr7 so it will prompt for a passphrase instead on unlock if secure boot is ever disabled
Dim just not sure if combining pcr 7 with 8 or 11 would work out due to the way how rpm-ostree works

KThe transparency is a dconf we apply to KDE

I have one, two actually, since you always need a backup, but have yet to start using it. It feels both daunting and somehow cumbersome, to start using a physical key for accessing my digital stuff, but I know it's the right way.

Dyeah, i found it a bit tricky, i got the yubikey that lights up, i tap it when the light starts pulsating slowly, indicating to me that its prompting for the touch, idk how it would work with yubikeys with physical buttons

TThe graphical unlock could do with some explaination IMO. Currently it just does the spinning 'loading' screen while waiting for your key & interaction.

Dit also looks like yubikey, or any other fido2 physical key, is the only way to have a truly secure deck, tpm2 would work if steam deck supported secure boot and allow us to lock down the BIOS with a password. There still questions about pcr 11-15 that im not sure would work on bazzite
TYeah I shied away from secureboot without knowing for sure I could change it from BIOS with a secure BIOS password

TI had wondered what people were doing for a compatibility layer, this is very much more sophisticated than I imagined.
TI tried getting my frame.work set up as a big picture style session and ended up with a pile of bash scripts all over the place and it wasn't sensible
