I got some random buttons leaking on portal 2 when closing the overlay
AMy character was jumping when closing it
SHm I thought someone said that was a steam thing not a hhd thing
ZHi, Im new to bazziteOS (kde) on my Legion GO. I have some questions:
- In desktop mode, I cant "click" with R1 - R2 like in the steam deck. how can I enable it ?
- I also cannot drag files with the touchscreen
- Everytime I enter desktop mode, the screen flips and then flips again
- In Desktop mode the keyboard is very small. Is this a new thing in steamOS or its a bug in bazziteOS? is it possible to use it in the normal size?
- Is it possible to use the controllers as the steam deck ones? or xbox? because I dont like playstation buttons
- The desktop configuration in steam desktop is not working

ujust install-legion-go-themebut you will need to also install decky, the css loader plugin, then enable the theme in the plugin
alternatively, change your controller emulator to Xbox, but you'll no longer have gyro or back buttons
SMine pauses when I hit the steam button but no jumping
NGo to display setting, and choose scaled by the system for legacy x11 application. That will fix the small interface problem for steam including the small keyboard.

Zive tried enabling desktop mode but it does not work
Mgot it then yeah, I tried to add something to %post to open up ports but my guess is that rpm-ostree doesn’t like it. I’ll pull it now.

ZAnother question;
- I want to install Emudeck on my micro-sd but the installer cannot automaticaly detect my SD but when I click the "custom directory" it says "error detecting your storage" but installing games in the sd in steam gaming mode works fine
ASome devices use a USB device for the SD card
ASo emudeck does not recognize it as an sd card
AAdding the custom path works
Sfull UI still acts like a mouse on touch
ADepends on the game I need to figure that out

MIt’s an issue with all nightly sunshine builds apparently, next copr build I will roll it back to their last stable release and keep it there.

Rhey has anyone ran into the issue on deck where games are stuck around 51fps instead of the intended 60fps

Dno, but is it something that randomly happens or can you reproduce it consistently? like with an action or a specific game?
Rin game mode it's happened fairly often, I'm unsure if it's perfectly replicable but it happens multiple times a day when I do stuff on deck

Dthe only thing i've ever ran into was somehow getting stuck at a multiple of the fps that gamescope was set to, for example the game rendering at 120fps when gamescope was set to lock at 60, 60fps if set to 30fps, etc. and only with RE engine games, like Street Fighter 6 or Resident Evil 4, i can get it to happen if i muck with the settings too much, gotta restart the entire steam deck to fix it

Ryea it's just really odd because it's not like I can only get 51fps, idk if it's bad juju to say but I'm running acnl on the emulator that shall not be named and the CPU is only using 1w and the GPU is only using 2-3 with little usage and no limits in gamemode

Dthe only thing i will comment on is one of the first things i do when i image steam deck is i turn off discover overlay, unfortunately its in the base image, i can't uninstall it, rpm-ostree tells you its inactive, but the service still runs in the background. I have to open the settings and tick the box to make it stop running at startup. What I don't like about it is that it appears like it has a memory leak on it. Not saying this would cause your issues, but that's what's kind of a pain about being in game mode, you can't really see what's going on
Dif you're knowledgeable enough to know how, i recommend maybe keeping an ssh session open on another computer to your steam deck with htop or something similar running to monitor usage, maybe something spikes up in the background that hampers your fps?
