rpm-ostree doesn't have access to the system's running DBUS because of it, so trying to execute a command in %post like firewall-cmd that relies on access to it fails. i tested it on my steam deck running nobara and it worked fine.Mthe ujust command might open the ports anyway, i have to check. was just trying to be more robust about it since i'm going to PR this sunshine.spec into the main sunshine repo soon.
KIs there a simple way with rpm-ostree to roll back sunshine to 0.22?
KAlso when I checked firewalld I couldn't find an entry for the sunshine service
Dsunshine is overlayed, could uninstall it, then rpm-ostree install the specific version, no?

Dfile names on windows are case insensitive, unlike linux, that could be a reason, how are you transferring them?
Calso i never heard of sunshine but I just looked it up, am i right in seeing that i could run sunshine on a minipc server and play games on the cloud from any homies house?

Mi just set up bazzite in a VM and chose to install sunshine in the first time installer and it seemed to work fine there. i'll try an rpm-ostree update next.
KI was having internal network routing issues when clients were connected to tailscale from within my network.
KOnce I switched to running a wireguard server on my opnsense router and separate wireguard clients everything worked
Dits probably better, my understanding is tailscale is wireguard made easy, so it has a whole bunch of stuff added on top for security. Wireguard, if you know what you're doing, will probably give you best performance on its own
Di have a raspberry pi sitting on my network that acts as a tailnet subnet router, so i don't have to install it on all my devices, for when im away from home i still have access to all stuff
KIt was exactly subnet routing that was giving me issues haha. If my tailscale client was in my network, the routing would fail.
KIf I was outside the network it worked fine. I actually got on zoom with their devs for a couple meetings explaining my issues.
KThey fixed my shared node dns issues eventually but wireguard just simplified everything.
KOn your pi if you want you can try setting up a wireguard node that allows access to your local network (would be same setup as router I think).
KI also found tailscale to have network jitter and variable ping making gamestreaming not great
Dyea sounds about right, the only thing i've been able to successfully do that was gaming related was connect to a minecraft server, though so as long as i was not too far away

KI bought an Intel network appliance off Amazon and installed opnsense on it. Never going back to a commercial router.
Dopnsense is a router, you still need a modem from your ISP
