A framework 13 + eGPU is what I want. Being able to just connect it and boot a Windows VM (or just use Linux) is appealing.

one time I took my gaming pc and ran ubuntu/kvm on it then passed my video card / usb ports to the vm running windows annnd it was pretty great actually. had to compile a kernel with some pulse audip fixes to get the audio to not be choppy

I tried to go that route when rembrandt launched, but eGPU was really finicky under linux in my experience and I wasn't willing to put up with running windows

wait for it to finish (no progress indicator but you will know when it's done because it will tell you to reboot), reboot, and you now have... i misread this. fixed it. thats how you get on the AMD/Intel image
