the quest for Total Comfort
drop your comfiest fits in any style
I'm looking for clothes that feel amazing and also look interesting (not athleisure or loungewear). These Homme Plissé pleated trousers might be a good example. What are some other super-comfortable yet stylish options?

OG-107s
they're on the list for sure, I'll have to dig around for a pair when I get some time. I picked up the 107 Yes from Outlier in the meantime, and they're great, but almost bordering on loungewear, so they won't replace the real thing. Any tips for finding some in good shape for a good price? I don't know of a proper surplus store near me or if they might even have them at this point
also, any recs for tops?
honestly I find that vtg tees are often the most comfy
I think you can find vtg og107s on ebay for $60-$70
Pretty easily
I'll be honest, I have no idea where to begin with this. How can you gauge how they feel?
Cooked OCBDs are pretty comfy.
I have one that is juuuuuust starting to fray, and it is really soft and comfy
Fleece is super comfy. So is a cashmere sweater
cooked?
you just mean worn, or is there a specific process for distressing them?
just worn
gotcha
Idk I have some thrifted vtg blanks that are super soft and comfy
I also find the uniqlo u oversized tees r superrr comfy
those are on the list too for sure
trying to get all my uniqlo ducks in a row before placing an order though, I was initially waiting for the navy pleated wide fits and then they sold out

what if james baldwin had sneakers is 🔥
I like the idea of silk though, but any vintage silk shirts I can recall are not quite that tasteful, they're usually wacky patterns
naked silk is the brand, you might get lucky on ebay or etsy
dig, thank you
is that how you cop most of yours or do you live near decent thrift options?
the idea of vintage on etsy hadn't occured to me either, so thanks for that too
it's usually 50-50 local vs ebay
etsy is expensive but there tends to be rarer (or at least better condition) stuff on it
are grailed/posh/etc any good for this kind of stuff?
debatable; they tend to focus on recognizable brands whereas imo the bigger value comes in finding something great from a no-name brand
james perse is typically my go-to for this type of stuff
Nothing beats the fabric 100% viscose imo. Viscose shirts feel the best in summers
love that color on the cords, I was thinking of getting the brown andrew cords, but that looks way better heading into spring, thanks
also, that cord is thiccc
any brands you'd recommend for viscose shirts?
beat up flannel shirts feel amazing
facts, but it's going to be too hot for those soon here
A camber hoody (mine is american trench), some PRL andrew wide cords, rototo double faced socks, hot chocolate, snowy day
100% viscose by mark and Spencer
I got a mix from Zara once it was terrible
thank you
are there different cuts within the andrew or are they all going to be wide?
mind you, the wider the better, just don't want to get the wrong ones
thanks for the socks btw, just picked some up
i think there's minor variations on the andrews depending on when they were made and material choice
i think but cannot confirm the 100% cotton ones are wider (both the pleated chino and cords) though I usually size up and wear a belt
not sure myself
