ultimately peering costs are more about "what they can get" then what is practical lol, they can charge whatever they want, and no one can do anything else except use the congested routes to china

I would say as well,
try a Pro IP: 104.26.10.51, and then try an Ent IP (no chinanet): 104.18.16.18, I'd be curious if they are any better

well for free plan, anything more then normal transit costs would be kind of silly to pay for peering considering transit would probably be cheaper then china's stuff at some locations/places and free plan has lots of data use

ehh you'd think in this age of global companies some ents may offer services/free tools/etc which occasionally get Chinese visitors but not enough to make entering china worth it
