NI used that necessarily because Bazzite which is what I use on my gaming rig doesn’t ship with the ujust command afaik
NBut it uses the same docker image for sure lol
FI used curl, got burned by it when it downloaded corrupted file once, switched to wget, no problems ever since

Xin my experience curl is more reliable, so i'm not sure what was up with our curl issue earlier

Flibexec is for executables which should not be exposed for direct executing by the users I think
Mdnkmmr take look at more of the /usr/lib you'll see executables there as well. /etc and /var occaisionally has some. Unfortunely, not all applications follow FHS.
That said: /usr/libexec is excellent for attempting to have a directory for all things that should be executable but not on path.

Mold days sbin was for statically compiled binaries necessary for early boot operations

B@dnkmmr remember the history of unix/linux started with the main subdirectories typically being completely separate storage devices, which would be mounted in a particular order to bring up the system. We still carry that "legacy" in the linux filesystem hierarchy.
