Replacing a TIP112 transistor with a TIP122 transistor should generally be fine, as they are both Darlington transistors with similar characteristics. the main difference between the TIP112 and TIP122 transistors is the maximum collector current . The TIP122 can handle higher current loads (up to 5A), while the TIP112 is limited to 2A. So i think it fine to replace it ...

Go through the component datasheet thoroughly mostly on the package part. And make sure your pin naming is correct to avoid mistakes, later in your design
