Before I make a massive assumption, can I confirm that:

5v = VDD
CS = Latch
CK = Clock
DI = Data
G = Ground

Trying to wire a warthog to the board!

That’s how I would interpret it. CS is chip select, which means hey you, I’m talking now. So latch makes sense.

Keep in mind colors don’t match between the two images, and the TM colors may not be intuitive (red is not Vcc on TM internal ribbon)

I found out the issue I was having. Apparently the powered usb hub I was using wasn't providing enough power causing it to act funny, but only with the TM grips.

I'm getting slight cracking noises in the pitch axis when changing movement direction. I've heard there is a screw that you can tighten to fix the issue. Anybody knows more about that? My Rhino is relatively new, only used it for about 3-4h.

AFAIK there is no command line ability in configurator to perform the reset function.

You could possibly restart TelemFFB (if you are using it) and pass the

-r

-r

flag though, which will force a reset via the hidapi.

Do keep in mind though that if you are using DCS, doing a reset while it is running will likely end up in requiring a restart of the sim.

Silly question time perhaps, but I got the virpil Z-extension, but as soon as I apply any measure of lateral force, say towards the edge of throw and barely 40-45% on spring it twists (well there is a lot of leverage and this point), it feels almost to me it's not twisting in the attachment but that the extension itself is being rotated.

Question though is this for anyone with this extension, is this how the extension is built or am I wrong and should just add a rubber gasket inbetween the rhino and extension ?

On VKB adapter the locating screw diameter is too large to fit into the receiving chamber in the VKB MCG Pro grip for offset. I guess that isn't necessary since the grip can be oriented as desired then tightened down on the base with the adapter's cap. It's hard to believe that the adapter won't loosen under any unintended twisting of the grip though.

Sure thing, VKB adaptor needs to be connected to a BlackBox, Rhino is not handling the grip. I’m using the same KG12, no issues.

grateful for you taking the time to answer, but maybe I am stoopid or blind. But how do you fix the grip to the adaptor. I understand the need for the blackbox, but physically fixing the stick on top of the extension, how DO I Do that? Because just putting it on top does not hold ... ?
