it's a quirk with most modern oses, they don't exactly tell you when the transfer is actually complete because of caching that's why you need to safe eject pen drives

If there's some kind of "super" button (on the Steam Deck it's the Steam button), press that in combination with X. As long as Steam is running, it should show the same one as on the deck
So I just updated to Bazzite 3.0, used rpm-ostree upgraderpm-ostree upgrade, and stuck on a black screen with a non-blinking terminal cursor on the top left. It never reached the login screen ever, even after an hour of waiting. What could be the problem here?
if it's what I think, you're not alone with this issue, in my case just giving the power button a tap and letting it shutdown on its own and rebooting seems to bring it back
