ZI think bazzite comes with something called powertop if I'm not wrong. Or at least my installation came with it

AHey guys, I finally (partially) figured out an issue that has been driving my absolutely insane and causing me to leave cryptic help requests all over the internet. Any chance you guys could get me over the last hurdle? To cut to the heart of the matter: this fstab entry auto-mounts at boot without providing exec ability. If I unmount and re-mount it, however, I get exec ability and suddenly everything works. Why am I not getting exec from automount?

Hbecause without exec youre expected to set the executable bit yourself which is standard (and with the noexec option, you cannot set anything executable)

Aand one of the first things I did was chmod a+wrx
Ait's not a normal permissions issue
Aat first login: try to run a binary on that drive, even with full permissions leads to a permission denied error
