Hcause currently a lot of stuff straight up doesn't work specially if it comes from M$ Store
DOne of the main reasons I am on bazzite is that it ships non-flatpak steam in the base image. There's a known performance issue with flatpak steam (https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak/issues/4187) and having a regular package makes it a lot easier to use mod managers

GIf you play games under any capacity then Bazzite will make your life much easier. It's not like Bazzite is incapable of being used as a regular desktop (in fact, it's excellent as a general purpose desktop too)

AHmm, bluefin hilariously seems a bit TOO dev focused for me. I just do my silly little computer things sometimes, my desktop is primarily a leisure machine
