EGamescope is the very reason I’m comfortable running my rx580 8g on a 4k tv
EIt’ll always output said 4k60 regardless of resolution I select in game or in the game properties on steam

EAnd very often I’ll have a game running in 1080p
EBut instead the output will be integer pixel upscaled to 4k60 and outputted as such
EOften don’t really notice it’s running in 1080p integer upscaled
EPixel perfect scaling works well

STrying to install bazzite on steam deck through ventoy and it's just looping back to iso selection screen

ADon't use the game setting otherwise the scaling does not work right I think

SI kinda wish I could get like an in-between 4k and 1440 like the consoles do because that'd be perfect for me, wouldn't lose a bunch of quality but I'd gain a bunch of performance lol

EAnd 1080p is overkill for quite a few games on 6”
EAnd 540p looks better than 720pFSR

SHelldiver doesn't like filters or scaling in full screen or borderless ngl
Ein some games adjusting the resolution in-game wont allow you to change scaling and filters
Eand then youll have to do it through this menu instead
Ebut in other times, selecting a different resolution in this menu will cause a game to display inproperly
Ethough thats rare
