The sleep issue will be related to my bios I think... I just wondered about this and I have this computer since 2017 and I remember something similar. Like turning on this thing from sleep, getting black screen, and reset button does nothing...

this is a proton regression actually that somehow interfaces with Gamescope. Try proton 8 and see if that works for you. Make sure to delete the proton prefix after switching proton versions

I had a similar problem with my last Acer Predator monitor (I don't remember the specific number, but it was a 4k 32" so might've been the same one) any time one of my connected Macs went to sleep. (Usually it worked un/replugging the HDMI).
