Ethe odd thing is navigating through the main ui doesnt have this issue

Asome games are funny about it
Ebut shouldnt steam just ignore a controller when steam input uses it
Ecause with my pc handhelds ive never had any issue like this
Eall three of them
Axbox controllers are usually not enabled for steam input by default
Adualsense controllers are depending on the game
PFound the answer under Steam compatibility, I need to look harder 
Awhen steam input is not enabled you get that

Aif steam input was enabled you'd be getting double input

Ebazzite now defaults to the wrong audio device
Acant help with that, all i can tell you is you can disable steam from changing the device
