not just DCS curves, but curves + FFB in general. If you think about what would happen when the center is no longer [0,0], it no longer makes sense. It also isn't feasible to try to move the curve with the center position.
In MSFS, where we are in full control of the axis position via TelemFFB, we support axis scaling/saturation.
Unfortunately in DCS, setting the saturation results in the same divergence of axis [x,y] versus FFB (physical) [x,y] across the range of an axis.
good point. saturation curves work well when a stick is centered with springs after a trim, but it doesnt make sense with a force trim staying in position
No they are ball bearings not spherical bushings. They have 2 rows of balls and the outer race is dished so they can deflect off-axis while carrying radial loads. These things
@walmis I have a question about the TPR rudder pedal set. Do you have any plan in the future to add force feedback to the TPR? I would like to know? I am telling you many people want this.
For the DCS Av8B flyers here, does your Rhino wobble left to right after engine start? And it then gets progressively stronger if you let it. Really strange
its pretty easy to over-do dampen/friction/inertia and create an oscillation loop. if you post screenshots of your configurator effects and settings tab in #support we can look and see if anything looks suspicious.
Wow just wow. Tried by now Mustang, Flanker, Warthog C, Tomcat, Strike Eagle, Harrier, Fulcrum, Hornet... was expecting how trim works on all planes but still positively surprised how well it is now reflected with default stick settings. I didn't even had to calibrate that thing. I think guys already have done it before shipping it to me. Thx!
Hello , i did just try the new OH6 Mod and there is « no match « in Telemffb . Does someone has an idea ? Every other helicopters work perfectly . Thanks !
i did select yes for a new profile , then I did try the Huey to compare ( working ) . Then switch back to the oh6 , close and relaunch telem ffb and « no match «
Can you post a screenshot? Not sure I understand. If it doesn’t match, you should have the opportunity to add a new profile (the updated script fixes another issue, it doesn’t add a TelemFFB profile).
From the screenshot, it looks like TelemFFB isnt even getting any telemetry (hence the “waiting for data”). Can you look in the TelemFFB log for any errors? If you don’t see any errors there, check the DCS log for errors with the TelemFFB export script.
Hi, I am looking for rudder pedals (for helicopter). Could you please tell me which pedals are best to use with Vpforce mod? I heart there is bolt on kit for MFG Crosswind? What about SLAW?
