As I said, we currently don't support the steam deck OLED for a variety of reasons. You can do basic graphics mode and that will hopefully fix the resolution if you are using a dock.

Oled has hardware related problems that require fixes in the kernel that are not upstreamed yet

its mostly fixed, there are some minor issues with audio and such

Just waiting till it gets Gold status in terms of compatibility, if the kernel is upstreamed and such then that's gonna be the time.

Manual partition dual boot on OLED is just wrapping up. Fingers crossed. The installer definitely needs fixing, that was an exercise in frustration.

Maybe it helps that I just migrated my SSD with Bazzite from my LCD to the OLED.

We recently removed the ability to set a root password. I'm wondering if Anaconda is stupid enough to completely lock the root account. Though I don't think that should matter given that we recommend users not set the root password?

To clarify, we don't recommend dual booting for this exact reason. Many things can go wrong in setting it up.

It doesn’t expect specific labels on the partitions does it? I prefixed them with baz_ to stop me accidentally deleting the equivalent STEAMOS partitions.
