SIt doesn’t expect specific labels on the partitions does it? I prefixed them with baz_ to stop me accidentally deleting the equivalent STEAMOS partitions.
DHas anyone got away or hyprland running decently on the bazzite image as opposed to the bluefin image?
DI'm new to fedora but not Linux. Been on Debian and arch for years now but thought I'd try bazzite on my steam deck

VI don't think WM's are priority, or will be for a while.
NBazzite will never support Hyprland officially. Not on the roadmap. There are folks who have created their own images, but it's quite the ordeal.

Nbig maybe on that. Each Desktop environment you add support for increases your support complexity significantly. WMs haven't really been a priority because creating a config that works for everyone on a WM is way harder to do.
VFair, so DEs are the focus and WMs are kind of a "If can figure out how to use a WM, you can figure out how to make an image" kinda ordeal?
Resp on sway id say because of how much you need to install for feature parity on that WM and the need to layer to get more functionality

MBoth Bazzite and Bluefin repos are setup well for adding in another Desktop Environment if you want to fork. But yeah if a wm is right for you, the image build is effectively another config.

ᕲI was told the original version was added a while back in testing at least at the time but it seems like it got lost or broken at some point as a deckhd user reported the unified slider isn't working which this patch fixes

VI installed Bazzite Gnome Edition and had toggled autologin off earlier when i was setting it up after i set up everything now i toggled it back on and it just frozes at the screen of the bazzite logo

CNot sure where to post this, but was wondering why Steam & Lutris are layered in the Bazzite image rather than using the Flatpak?
Cthis is specifically talking about the desktop image, i can imagine getting the deck image working likely isn't possible using the flatpak (doesn't explain lutris though I guess)

Drops the bazzite-arch pattern in favor of all images having steam layered into them. A lot has changed since our 1.0 release and while bazzite-arch has it's place, I think this makes more sens...

Cyeah, steams always been an issue in some way or another. damned if you do damned if you dont i guess. as an aside, hdr doesn't seem to work yet from the quick test i just did with uncharted (kde) still being greyed out.
