CNot sure where to post this, but was wondering why Steam & Lutris are layered in the Bazzite image rather than using the Flatpak?
Cthis is specifically talking about the desktop image, i can imagine getting the deck image working likely isn't possible using the flatpak (doesn't explain lutris though I guess)

Drops the bazzite-arch pattern in favor of all images having steam layered into them. A lot has changed since our 1.0 release and while bazzite-arch has it's place, I think this makes more sens...
EDo you want HDR/Gamescope, because that's how we HDR/Gamescope I think.

C@Eeyore_Syndrome - thanks for the link to the PR and brief explainer. Curiorosity was mostly because of layering being somewhat against the idea of flatpak everything was all.

EIt also makes VR happier/easier to fix and steam input happy on Wayland.
Cyeah, steams always been an issue in some way or another. damned if you do damned if you dont i guess. as an aside, hdr doesn't seem to work yet from the quick test i just did with uncharted (kde) still being greyed out.

SYes to have any chance of installing you need an external monitor and a lot of patience
AIs that different than the one a couple days ago? I installed in basic graphics mode (rotated) just fine with no external monitor.

BGuys I tried booting bazzite, nobara and even arch and none of them boot up even with the secure boot turned off on bios.
BI want to switch from windows 11 I'm on desktop with a ryzen 5 5600 and rx 6600 setup
