You can use the streamKey of the protocol you most want (RTMPS, SRT WHIP) they will all respond to the state of the stream

We're using webhooks because then it hits our servers. Using websockets makes the process dependent on a client.

I've been doing this for a month and I'm still green on some things. Example if I do not have any output defined for a stream nor record the stream and a client starts a transmission from the obs, cloudflare counts those minutes to me

ah, I am aware of signed urls and geo/ip restriction, but I am concerned that might not be enough.
For example, if a logged-in user with access to the signed url in a non-blocked geo/ip region opens a bunch of streams at once, that could result in a large bill? Even if I time-limit the signed url, its still possible spam a bunch of stream fetches.

Is there any protection in which even if a bad actor passes the signed url, timelimit, and geo/ip checks, writing a shell script to open/download a stream 10000 times gets detected & blocked simply because the usage is suspicious (maybe in the simpler case of all requests coming from one ip)?

im getting two strange errors:

When trying to do a direct creator upload of a video with smaller videos (so far tested and succeded with images less than 200mb) it works fine. Doing that same upload with a video of around 300mb eventually the connection just dies and get an NS_ERROR_GENERATE_FAILURE. Doing it with a video around 500mb gives me an immediate CORS origin error. Same domain same algoritm, only difference is video sizes as far as i can tell.
When trying to retrieve this thumbnail, https://customer-56fx8oxwdrk14ngj.cloudflarestream.com/38d41d8da5c940ed8208c7d63831207e/thumbnails/thumbnail.jpg it hangs and returns a 524 error eventually

Hi, I am using Cloudflare Calls for video conferencing. However, since yesterday, I have encountered an issue where the video suddenly stops displaying when a new track ID is added to the SDP. Additionally, I noticed in the network (fetch/XHR) that the media IDs are duplicated, but no error is displayed.

I hope someone can help me with this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
