It should be logging stack traces by default. If it isn't, then you may be using a framework/middleware that is swallowing the errors

Only Uncaught Errors are loggged to the console, unless whatever is catching the errors is also logging them

Date.now() only changes on I/O, so if theres something behind using heavy CPU doing a Date.now() -> fetch -> Date.now() would not only track the fetch time.
