HHi, is there any new progress in setting node_compat = true for functions?
II have a Pages project that I needed to upgrade to use Queues, but it turns out I can't add consumers in Pages? This is pretty disappointing. I figured I'd be able to make a new function that could be a consumer so I could keep all my code in one project.

IWhat would be the best way to run a task a few minutes after a function executes? I was thinking either a cron task (in workers) that runs every 5 minutes and checks for a list of scheduled tasks in the database, or a durable object with alarms?

TWhat's the best way to send mail from a Pages instance?
ICreate a function which you can send a POST to that calls an email API like SendGrid to send the email for you. You need the function so that you can use secrets/api keys (passed in through environment variables) that should not be revealed in the frontend.
IIf this function is for something like a contact form that is exposed to the public (you don't have to log in to use it), then take extra precautions to prevent abuse. Add CSRF prevention and rate limiting.
IEven though it's a single endpoint, you might want to consider using a microframework like Hono since it has built in middleware you can apply that does CORS, CSRF, and there's a 3rd party rate limiter middleware as well.
MHey folks, how can it be that one of my functions (it's proxying a websocket request) sometimes produces exceptions which the log stream doesn't show? Like I would have expected the logs or the exceptions array to contain something...

HTThis is perhaps too general of a question, but often when I look for docs and info about how to set up and use Pages Functions, I get docs for Workers intead. I know there's a lot of overlap, but it's not clear to me exactly how to adapt info about Workers to apply to Functions. Are there some general guidelines, or docs that discuss this?

TUsually Hugo, but I have successfully set up and used functions in projects that don't use a framework, too. To be slightly more specific, I've managed to get my functions talking with Stripe checkout and Google scripts, but not Respond or Mimetext.
BDo functions support python? I see the documentation covers javascript and typescript, but I didn't see any mention of python (or I'm blind).
