Got home from locals. After doing topgrade in desktop mode, I'm no longer prompted to do any steam client updates in gaming mode. I didn't notice anything going wrong when I did the upgrade, but topgrade is pretty awkward when you run it handheld because it asks for key inputs at the end.

Well, I have now, post topgrade after getting home. Would stuff like dmesg and bluetooth service messages be kept in logs for past boots? I didn't reboot during the fighting game meetup. It was more important to keep playing so we just went wired.
