Minstead of having to make a system link so steam thinks they're different
Hthis is only a problem with non-steam games with their own launchers, not their problem

WMust have been fun with the steam updates with those 14 versions
MIts dlcs need to be run in the same prefix as the game and each other
Mits a really dumb process even on windows
MSince you have to run them separately at least once and launch the correct one
Hok that sounds like an issue for very old games only (or games that have been released/packaged weirdly for steam)
MThough, I'm not sure if spore still has an activation limit

Yyeah i dont think we will see anything from valve until nvk is done but by that point we will also have other options..... like bazzite and nobara
YSeems like a lot of work going on by Valve to support Nvidia in Wayland/Gamescope so they are at least trying.
Yside note, bazzite is much more stable than nobara for me?

Ybro.... i install it on steam deck? i came back a week later and started my deck and it crashed and refused to boot. just gave me a terminal and thats it. the only thing i did was a software update....

Yits been months and i havent had this issue. i did once but it was pretty early on before version 2
MIf the error is cause by something in userspace, rolling back isn't always helpful
WYeah, but if it's userspace you can usually make a new user in the system and just move over your games and you good. Which is still better than re-installing
