KSteamOS isn't even secure by default. No FDE, no SELinux, no kernel updates

Yyeah i dont think we will see anything from valve until nvk is done but by that point we will also have other options..... like bazzite and nobara
YSeems like a lot of work going on by Valve to support Nvidia in Wayland/Gamescope so they are at least trying.
Yside note, bazzite is much more stable than nobara for me?

Ybro.... i install it on steam deck? i came back a week later and started my deck and it crashed and refused to boot. just gave me a terminal and thats it. the only thing i did was a software update....

Yits been months and i havent had this issue. i did once but it was pretty early on before version 2
MIf the error is cause by something in userspace, rolling back isn't always helpful
WYeah, but if it's userspace you can usually make a new user in the system and just move over your games and you good. Which is still better than re-installing

AI think a big advantage for bazzite is the easy rollbacks. nobara burned me several times with updates, and there was no easy rollback option.
Abazzite has helped me maintain my sanity with the Legion Go, lol
VTo Nobara's credit, they probably have the kernel rollbacks Fedora Workstation provides right?
