RI have been on Arch Linux for 14-15 years. Now I'm on Arch with Hyprland. Which I have a waybar which shows the number of package which have updates. Which makes me
pacman -SyuMost Linux groups I encounter are pretty welcoming.
Vgroups as in just online circles, not specifically facebook.
WI need to play with Arch again... in a vm so I can't break anything
RI deleted my Facebook account 5 years ago. Didn't use social media since then. But I installed Mastodon iOS app and logged back in to it recently.
RI have countable occurrence of Arch being broken during these 14/15 years.
RAnd I fixed that using ArchISO on USB drive.
Rchroot-ing into my harddrive system.
RI appreciate the idea of immutable system. Which we have cheap and large SSD now.
WIt's quite fun fixing a system but yeah... sometimes I actually want to just game. This is where Bazzite is nice

RAnd I wish I could make my company to use Linux for work using NixOS. And every engineer could just checkout the dot file from companies' repository, and run the dot file to get dev environment ready.
AI used ChimeraOS for a while on my PC handhelds, and it was a nice taste of atomic/immutable distros.

5I do the same thing. There must have been times I've gone months without updating arch, but it keeps working. I've had more issues updating Ubuntu

WI'm usually fine with the normal Ubuntu upgrades but jumping to a new release.... um yeah, reinstall is better. Where as Bazzite 39 to 40 upgrade had some issues but you could rollback and now 40 is fine

5Freaking trying use their upgraded to go the next version and it took forever to crash. I had to look up the command to run it from the terminal. At least with arch it's always sudo pacman -Syu
