I have a cron task that should add jobs to a queue. In order to avoid a duplicate jobs being added to the queue the next time the cron runs, I need to keep track of which jobs have been triggered. I mean you can if you want. You didnt even need zod schema when you didnt have RPC its use is mostly do you trust that you actually sent the correct data format or do you want to double check it. I personally never used it because I trusted types

my thoughts are more along the lines of deploying new versions of the worker, what if you change the payload? you're going to probably start getting some cryptic errors without a front-loaded parser

I just had a terrible DX today. I need to share it.
Cloudflare pages + workers is really sexy. I am currently building a Nuxt3 app on it and was enjoying it so far, even if I known I am using fairly new techs so wasn't expecting to encounter no obstacles. The thing is, I just wanted to stream some text (from open ai models) from my worker, and once I made it work on my dev server, I checked a preview with

: it was not streaming, the response from the open ai APi was outputted all at once. I spent a lot of time, either here or online in the docs, just to realize it was working perfectly fine once deployed! only it is not working when previewing! (Image I found lately in the AI space of the doc) Damned! And I love to think that it's nice to be able to run the app locally in an env close to the production one, a bit like starting a docker container. But it cost me a lot today.

I don't think you pay for pings, only for incoming requests. Though note that eviction is probably more likely if you don't use a DO
