BI just installed the latest desktop nvidia gnome ISO, using nvidia, and everything is flickering like crazy. Black screens all over, letters i'm typing going in and out of existence. (i did run the system update). I'm kinda new to linux just switched from Windows. Should I switch to X11? is that safe to do? it looks like I'm on Wayland right now. Even though some users in here say that they are on x11 by default?

Mthe forums are one of the nicer forums out there as well not that we need forums as much these days
ABut it's easier for gnome to just keep at it than rewrite mutter from scratch at this point and basically undo all that work they've spent time doing so y know, I get their point

AThe strength of Bazzite is it's majority fedora and ublue which are very healthy projects
NSame, tried nobara for a short time, managed to break it, and went straigth back to Endeavouros. Then I went for bazzite, as my first long-term fedora distro.

AThe only difference between nobara and bazzite as far as packages are concerned is that nobara snapshots the fedora repos once a month
Valso everyime bazzite or bluefin/aurora have a bug with a new update it's just a quick 'whelp, go back to last deployment and wait'
ABut as it stands I think Fedora's Atomic distros are fantastic and UBlue makes em even better
