HYes ffb rudder. This happen if I give right rudder from neutral and release it after that.
NTurn off the pedal trimming feature in TelemFFB if it’s enabled. I don’t know how or if that will work with mods like that.
Sproblem solved: looks like i accidentally set telemFFB to simulate it as a helicopter :MurmKek:
N@harry yeah.. turn off the trim option for the pedals. These mods don't accept input via the export script commands the same way the official modules do.

HUnfortunately the flight model is not ready yet. They made the last update in 2021, so I have no hope, that it will be finished soon. I would love to train aerobatics with it....
IRe installed IL2 and tried the Rhino, works good and I like the effects, but joystick feels slow like when there is no Telem in DCS, not very natural and slow to react which makes it difficult to be precise, it does get stiff at speed but when I slow down I can feel a sudden change in the stick were the resistance becomes weaker suddenly, no progressively like DSC, any ideas how to make it work better?
NProper simulation of the flight dynamics during aerobatic maneuvers is likely to be extremely difficult and AFAIK, nobody does it very good. MSFS is laughable.
I wonder if anyone else remembers Flight Unilimited from the mid-90s. It was a dedicated aerobatics simulator with an Extra300, Sukhoi, Decathlon, Pitts and a Grob sailplane I believe. As I remember it, the flight model relating to characteristics during and after stall was superior to any sim I've flown since then. Keeping in mind that was 20+ years ago and memory has a way of becoming whatever it wants over time

HI remember flight unlimited. It was fantastic (in my memories) and yes for aerobatics fs2020 is bad. I hope that fs2024 is better. In dcs I think the Christen Eagle and the Albatros are very good. Someone told me the edge 540 is better than the extra and I will try it end of the week. The yak is also good and but sometimes falls in a state similar to the extra today.
Steleffb question: not sure how much difference it makes but for the ka-50 do i set the rotor blade count to 3 or 6? i mean it has 3 per rotor but it also has 2 rotors
NThe only thing the blade count is used for is in the calculation of the frequency for the engine/rotor and ETL/overspeed rumble effects. Doubling the blade count would effectively double the frequency of the effect
VThat was by looking glass studios or something right? i seem to recall the splash screen. It was way ahead of its time in graphics too. Anyway, there is one sim that I currently fly that has as good or better flight dynamics, and thats condor. Soaring only though. But especially in VR, its as close to the real thing as you will get without a G forces. The amazing thing is that its developed basically by one guy in his spare time. Dont expect fs2020 graphics, but it looks good enough.

I was flying in DCD (Mirage F1) - having a blast with it - and was tabbing back and forth between DCS and the VPcontrol software. Adjusting and testing different gain levels. Everything worked fine and suddenly the stick went all limb and dead (I briefly heard the reconnect chime).
When I looked in the control software, everything was gone. All effects unchecked, all gains zeroed, calibration reset. (Unfortunately I didn't export my settings in a conf file - lessons learned.
So far it was a one off occurrence. Any ideas what happened? Did I just crash the software or could it be some kind of hardware issue? ty

WMy guess is you didn't "Store" the configuration. "Apply" only sets the configuration in RAM and it resets to last stored configuration on restart.
HNo, this lesson I learned already, I pressed apply and store frequently - after each adjustment basically. After the Stick went dead, I couldn't load the configuration from it neither....
Hmind that really everything was gone. Not only my latest adjustements, but everything. It was basically erased...
HI might also add, that the stick itself was fine. After I re-applied all my settings from memory (and this time saved a .conf file...), the Rhino worked fine again.

Fall my extensions for stick are natural aluminum and didnt expect to find an anodized part in black. and since it has exactly the same color as the internal part I thought somethign was missing. A small blade pressure confirmed mer it was indeed aluminium. Your base construction is SUPERB btw. I am really impressed witht he whole quality of the thing. now to install everything and try it. THANKS AGAIN for making this avalaible to us simmers !!!
Fquick question before I go. Is there a manual on how to install the 11degreee limiter ? I can take a guess but would rather follow instructions if there are any ? any page in the manual ?

NAre you talking about native FFB effects (i.e. dynamic spring, trim movement) or effects from TelemFFB (engine rumble, gunfire, etc)?

IIdk if it's a DCS issue, user error, or a TelemFFB issue, but sometimes in the Apache when you crash, of course the stick goes limp, but then when you spawn in new helicopter the stick just shoots all the way forward (smacked the shit out of my desk twice, thankfully not breaking anything). Then, your stick position is weirdly off center to the front about halfway to max forward deflection. The positon fixes itself after the helicopter turns on.
II think it's DCS setting the stick position to the middle of full pitch down when the helicopter is off, then after you turn it on, and wiggle the controls a bit, it recenters normally.
II've learned that once I die in the Apache to just hit the e-stop on the stick until I'm ready to fly.
II think this is the series of events: Die -> stick goes limp -> respawn -> DCS hastily moves the stick center to 50% pitch down (for some reason) -> Rhino tries to respond as quick as possible but massively overshoots the new center point.
IIt's fairly easy to reproduce. Just crash an Apache, let go of your rhino, and respawn. (I would not recommend fully letting go as that's why it hit my desk. Normally, my stick cannot touch my desk. About a .75in gap. It must have flexed the pastic Winwing adapter)
Ntrying to think what telemffb effect could even cause this... "runway rumble" is the only one I an think of if the telemetry wigs out when you re-spawn. Quickest way to rule in/out TelemFFB though would be to try to reproduce without it running
II could do that. I don't think it's a TelemFFB issue. I'm leaving heavily towards the "DCS-being-whack-as-hell" side of the equation.
IBecause the sticks position is being commanded by DCS. But oddly enough, in the configurator, when the stick is trying to maintain the 50% pitch down attitude, the center point is still showing the middle. Something is forcing the stick forward.
