MIs there any kind of queue system for the ffb pedals? I signed up on day one, but the order doesn't even show up on the bot list

MI'm new to the VP force discord and I'm thinking of building a Rhino. Now I'm wondering witch motors to choose. I have no Idea if the bigger Motors will fit in the Casing of the Rhino? It should not be a problem to change the casings construction sligthly but is there any need to do that?

TThe GitHub and Protomaker DIY Rhino kit only fits the 57 size motors.
The 87 are significantly larger and will not fit.
Can the files and dimensions be altered to fit? Sure but that’s gonna be a freaking huge base.
The 87 motors do work for sticks but the larger motors are mainly for FFB Rudders because leg muscles are so much stronger.

The 57 are great and what the official Rhino uses.

Mone last question, is there also a possibility to build some auto throttle with the Rhino kit?
F57 should be good for most normal uses, like sidestick or extensions <200mm(keep in mind the rhino is taller than most normal bases)
TThe “potential” maximum force depends on a lot of factors.
Basically it’s some complicated math but the 57’s max power comes from a higher power PSU and maybe with some radiator fins.
Also as discussed the length from motor to stick grip determines overall max force.

TWith a weak power supply you can watch the motors drop
FIirc no sim has support for auto throttle
TWithout cooling you could get better (longer duration) forces by avoiding the heat trip when it ramps itself down
FEh, i wouldnt be that concerned, i use 340w for the biggest motors and didnt have an issue
BThe actually sold units used the smaller motors and it does not lack power.

TAnyway the max force is affected by a lot of factors up to and including shaft length (extensions).
But again that’s all user preference and honestly I’ve only ever heard one guy complain it was weak AND it turned out that was some software error on his part lol.
So even if you search you won’t find folks actually claiming the rhino is weak

MOk, that sounds good for me!
TThe only times I would maybe recommend the larger motors for a stick is for a true custom build.
The DIY is an awesome build with a few tiny hic cups and set up but after that you’ll be super happy.

AI don't think there should be any problems with current power levels, but I also don't think TM connectors could handle the 2-figure kilos of some of the real planes

S@MichalK @neok since I know both of you have the Rhino as well as the Tianhang F-16 grip, could you tell me if it's able to be mounted at an angle on the Rhino as they come? angle meaning like you'd want for a center stick (see image)
