yes we could get silk.net running on consoles given the access and the time, but wrapping it up in a nice “dotnet build”/“dotnet run” experience is hard
again we implore anyone looking to port their silk apps to consoles to get in touch, we’ve had engagements with the Xbox middleware team and they said they’re happy to support us provided a licensed developer expressed intent in using silk’s support
There is little/no money in this space. You use your work to get hired or do it because you enjoy it. Until that changes I doubt anyone is going to sponsor development in any meaningful way. Not to devalue your (or my own) work but once people get a window/graphics binding standing they forget about the lib until it breaks or they need documentation or help.
