Lets explore, Career as a Embedded Systems Engineer. When it comes to Embedded Engineer, there are two choices you can become Embedded Software or Embedded Hardware Engineer.
Embedded Software Engineer are usually focus more on programming and developing software for embedded processors means microcontroller, microprocessors etc. They should ...
If you wonder how to get internship in embedded systems then watch this video. I'll show you 4-steps to secure internship or entry level job in embedded software development. Become an embedded systems professional requires good amount of preparation before you get ready to take up full time job. And best starting point is paid internship where ...
In this webinar, we'll be exploring how to become Embedded Systems Engineer in 4-Steps. To pursue career as embedded engineer, one need to create a proper road map which include learning necessary skills like Embedded C, C++, Microcontroller Programming, PCB Design, Electronics Circuit Design etc. But, the one thing very few speaks about is afte...
Alright @Event Pings it's almost time for another Engineering Hour with @Umesh Lokhande where we'll be continuing our exploration of embedded protocols. It starts in less than an hour at 15:00 UTC.
Welcome to the server, @andrea @MrIDK @VladP @BOTTON, L F, @Medha Jain, @Rusty-1! We're happy you're here and verified so you can join the collab! If you're looking familiarize yourself with the group feel free to ping the @Mod @Admin or any of the @lead roles and we'll help you find your way to the right devs!
Hey @electro_coco did you ever get the help you needed? If you put your specific question in the #middleware-and-os channel it won't get lost in the flow so easily and I follow up on it. If you give me more info about what you need help with I can create one for you. Hope you're having a great weekend.

We all know how tiny and powerful computer chips are these days, do you think current microchip fabrication methods can keep pace with the growing demand for processing power and miniaturization?
Those new materials and 3D stuff are mind-blowing , Do you think there are any challenges we might face as we move towards these new fabrication methods? For me, with these crazy small and powerful chips, they will become even more expensive to produce, and less affordable
The demand on microchip fabrication is evolving drastically as the miniaturization of chip evolving. Currently TSMC it's the is leading manufacturer of microchip, they are able to produce transistor of upto 2nm(nano meter). For now I think this is the smallest we have reached though there some research going on on how to go further.
Hi All, New here. Ideal career trajectory, Cybernetics. Mostly tinkering with AI NLP at present. Strong interest and some experience with microcontrollers, sensors, radio, motor control, conditional logic, Python. Mid-Career. Best suited for DevOps Admin.
Advances in AI and converged network rollouts mean edge workloads need a sustained balance of high-end compute, low-latency data transmission, and managed power consumption. Business decision makers and system architects deploying these workloads must ensure their edge infrastructure can be implemented quickly, withstand the rigors of field envi...

And speaking of Office Hours, this Friday we're going to be discussing the role/use of AI/ML/NLP in development. I still have to create the event page so hold tight while I wrap this PICMG event.
The AI/ML in development topic was a member request and we keep getting asked to open an AI channel. So this will be a good opportunity to vote for that initiative with your presence!
Hi, do anyone know how to set up private APN settings on a 4G module. I am new to this and recently my company provided me with an M2M sim and I am not able to connect to my AWS server using this sim . Earlier I was using a 4G sim and everything worked fine. But now I am not aware what may be the issue.
Hi @aniketgupta2043, welcome. This is a good question for our @Edge Networking folks, and specifically @InsightMike may be able to provide some perspective. What are you building?
Hi @Event Pings, Another episode in our protocol series is this Sunday where @Umesh Lokhande will be walking us through SPI driver development. Join us at 15:00 UTC to get some foundational concepts under your belt and ask questions that will move your design forward!
Hi! Have anyone tried yocto build in Windows Subsystem for Linux(WSLv2)? The yocto documentation says it's compatible but not verified. I was able to create a build for MPFS_DISCO_KIT but don't see it booting up...
Is it that if the image is created, it means it worked on WSL or can it end up creating an incomplete linux image? @MCU, MPU & Firmware
