always primary, unless youre on a 90s system (that has 3 partitions and need more)
extended has so many downfalls and its good we no longer use it

I did not request an update, or to compare a remote package, or have mine compared With a remote, so skopeo requesting internet is strange to me

You probably also want "everyone" else you need to put in your login password whenever you want o mount it

to make this work, if anyone is interested, on a x86/64 PC running Bazzite, youd need two things
opensnitch-1.6.5-1.x86_64.rpm and opensnitch-ui-1.6.5-1.noarch.rpm
install in that order, and then sudo systemctl enable --now opensnitch.servicesudo systemctl enable --now opensnitch.service

So far, it is surviving, but this a what i consider a major problem with the way the system is doing this. to reproduce, go to a folder that requires root, and access is with password. like, /mnt. then close Dolphin and reopen. when you re-open, since it resumes from where it was, it asks for password. the only way to get it to stop asking for password is to either enter your password or reboot. Cancel does not close the dialog, even if you have already closed Dolphin. X to close does not help, nor does alt-f4, etc.

Yep, that will work, but it still seems like and issue someone needs to look into. I assume the team who makes Dolphin is already aware of it, if i managed to encounter it. I will have to do that. Thanks

That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is when an app that I wrote breaks and I get the prompt "Report this bug to Microsoft, click ok to continue"... ummm no.

Yeah, thats what I am rolling with as well, but for some unknown reason, it will work fine for a while, then suddenly everything on my PC will freeze, no ctl+alt+f2, no SysRq+RESUIB, nothing -- No, I have an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, I tried disabling CStates, but no luck there

i915 currently has a bug that causes the whole system to freeze for 10-20 seconds until the gpu is automatically reset

at this point i would set up a second pc with ssh to the affected pc and run dmesg --followdmesg --follow and journalctl -xe --followjournalctl -xe --follow and look at it when the freeze happens for any ideas
