Actually it is doing something. Its just not as predictable as SimpleDecky TDP was. If I set it to 8w my total system wattage stays ~22w, but if I bump it up it will hit 30-35w total power usage. So ... its like the baseline is higher than I was used to before

Looking at the total system power usage. When I was using simpleTDP I could get it down to around 17w (Albeit most games ran like crap at that power level)

best way would be doing a pull request to add -pipewire-pipewire in here https://github.com/ChimeraOS/gamescope-session-steam/blob/015e09825d4f9a2dfdbc20fc2711e2dcee2af68a/usr/share/gamescope-session-plus/sessions.d/steam#L98C1-L99C1 or a patch

You can only manually limit the gpu and cpu. Set mango HUD to Max details and you'll see how much each is using
