New to the rhino and telemffb but when I see I post images of the intiefsce with the nice purple sliders etc
That’s not what I get on mine just a list of effects and a tick box to activate them
Is there a setting I need to to adjust to get the snazzy interface like this

I'm not sure since there's never been a version with checkboxes but no settings sliders. The "old" version didn't have any effect settings in the UI (was all text config based). The new versions have always had settings with checkboxes to enable and sliders to adjust.

Maybe a screenshot of what you do see would help.

You can always grab the latest from https://github.com/walmis/VPforce-TelemFFB/releases. Once installed (just a un-zip) it should allow you to auto-update when there are new versions.

Didn't noticed anything either.. just a little panel shake as it goes through. Only took it through ETL a few times just to get numbers for the default telem profile but it seems pretty tame during the transition.

Have you made any changes to settings? Currently my stick is set up for the F-4E/F-15E.... I am not sure that is how it is supposed to be.

My settings. Minus hardware force trim. Leave that off for in game dcs aircraft that have native support.

This is slightly different to the profile you shared in the VPForce Profile Sharing section (as I was looking at that last night). Are you using a z-extension out of interest and that is why there is a 10% set for the balance spring

it's more powerful for sure & their software is coming along. But as far as I can see they only support Thrustmaster grips or shift register grips & the adapters available are all passthrough. That would mean no going & buying just the grip from who ever, you would now need to buy a base too, so my recent purchase of the virpil Warbrd grip would needed to include the virpil base too, this makes things more expensive for ppl like me who enjoy different grips per aircraft. When I have the MFG FFB kit done & a FFB yoke finished, plus all the other things like PC/Monitor upgrades, DD Wheel base + wheels, pedals etc. I will be looking at making a "full power" Rhino just because, tbh I've been planning for a while to create a second flight sim set up with all my old gear as I upgrade, also (when we get the upgrade

) the Rhino would be awesome to use a a FFB shifter for racing & truck sims. I love my S/N#25 Rhino & still consider it the greatest upgrade for PC flight sim I ever made but I'b be lying to say I'm not impressed with the FFBeast/FFBest & look forward to seeing it develop further. But still I think I'll be sticking with the "full power" Rhino when it comes time.

My thoughts EXACTLY!!!

Great minds and all…

But yeah by the time the “pther” projects catch up in software the Rhino will be ready for a super powered all metal upgrade…

Because it’s so far ahead on the software side I feel like it would be super easy to catch up or even pass the others on the hardware side (at some point if the future necessitated it)

For now I got more than enough power from the Rhino at 60% hahaha (but I don’t use any extensions which would lower the forces.. I’m basically just a stick on a Rhino so it’s strong enough for my taste as is)

Yeah that’s the fun part is knowing you played some small part in making it all happen.

For me we have small children so I love when they sit back and watch Daddy turn a huge pile of stuff into something cool..

I want to pass on the DIY spirit and show them you can build anything!

That’s why I really love the DIY. It’s a mindset I get to pass onto my kids while also… hey I get to build some cool ish’

You can never fail a diy project, its only the previous version caught fire is all, next one wont have faulty wiring.

Its also very common, at least for me, to take "thinking breaks" and they might look like me just watching netflix for two years.

For trimming, i clicked "Hardware Force Trim" and "Override Trim" and i have the trim assignments in DCS empty. When i trim, the stick goes back but as soon as i release the trim, it goes back to center. Is that supposed to be like this or do i do something wrong?

Most, if not all of them, dcs modules handle trimming natively so you don't need to use the option for that in the configurator, just bind them as usual in the module controls.
