CEspecially given Universal Blue is 'marketed' as forward-looking, good opportunity to learn new technologies!
Pif the actual manual for it says anything about DDC/CI then you are probably fine but sometimes it's just buggy and gross anyway

Tturning on dcr does disable manual brightness in the monitor itself

LMaybe it's because I have used Linux since 2001 that I don't expect anything to work properly.
