You're in the chat forum Stream. For #1 as I understand it, or #2 - I assume you have a live or a VOD that is 30 minutes. There is no differnce. Both 'cost' 30 minutes of storage. You need to pre-buy storage so call it $10/month.

So 30 minutes x 20,000 viewers x 100% viewing = 600,000 minutes

Which = $1 x 600,000 / 1000 = $600 plus $10.

Streaming costs at a rate of $1 per 1,000 minutes delivered.

Storage: Storage costs are based on 1,200 minutes of video content at $5 per 1,000 minutes stored.

no, no encoding, transcoding, bitrate, megabyte... no charges for that at all. It's a fairly good deal if you don't want to roll your own

For some of our users When they navigate back and forth the video on cloudflare stream it freeze and have to reload the page, only then it will work

Is it possible to set a custom domain to reference Cloudflare Stream, in the same way that it can be done for images?

After uploading a video file to the ‘upload url’ received from the “…/stream?direct_user=true” API, is the following procedure correct for playback?

Periodically check using ‘/stream?search=${encodeURIComponent(videoKey)}’,
Play the video in the player when result[0].status.state === ‘ready’.

Is there a feature where the player displays a loading bar until the transcoding is finished and then automatically loads the video?

I have started a stream also stopped it , noticed that stream is disconnected But the corresponding video still showing that stream is in-progress and this behaviour is stopping Asset-ready webhook events .Please advise on this how to resolve this issue.

OBS isn't in a state which currently allows for the usage of Enhanced RTMP via custom destinations. Cloudflare would need to register their RTMP URLs in our services list and specify a configuration endpoint as a part of it.

I have questions about the global regions of Cloudflare Stream.

My understanding is that when a video is uploaded to Cloudflare, it is propagated to all global data centers. So, Users, regardless of which country they are in, can stream from the nearest data center.

As developers, is there anything we need to do separately to support global regions?

its multiplied by users so if 100 users watch the entire 150 minutes then its 15000 minutes used. but if they only watch part of the video its just the minutes they watched

i dont think you can update the connection status of a live-input but a workaround may be to use durable objects as websockets to listen for a disconnection message from server and close the client's connection.

Hello, with direct creator upload using tus upload I keep getting failed uploads.

The error I get with uppy is "This looks like a network error, the endpoint might be blocked by an internet provider or a firewall."

I can't manage to reproduce this, but it happens to a lot of users both on mobile and desktop, with various connections. I set the retry count to 100 and it stills happens.
They manage to upload if they retry several times (to upload from scratch) but it's not a viable solution to ask everybody to try to upload multiple times.

Did someone had the same issue ?
