the longest i had to wait for a massive resize has been 18 hours but that was on a 1TB drive almost a decade ago on a laptop

if it was the usual raid enabled on computers (intel RST) even though it has only 1 disk then linux wouldnt see that by default and think there is no disk

Its not vital data at risk but it is extremely anoying if i Lost it so we'll se in a few seconds
