When we're talking in broad terms to someone if they should switch to Linux there's that caveat of "Assuming your laptop doesn't have issues with Linux" (which I literally just copy pasted from someone else) because of that custom stuff. If we had something more concrete we could instead provide an action to do instead, i.e. Check if your laptops supported here ->. That's what I do when people ask about game compatibility and it makes my life way easier.
