I would install Linux to the 512 and then use the other half of the Windows drive as a shared BTRFS partition

So, all this time I've had bazzite installed on an old sata ssd, and I've been thinking of moving it over to new larger nvme ssd. However I'm not sure what's the best way to go about this. I doubt I can just dd copy the partition over and expect it to function well. Perhaps a fresh install and then rsync the var directory over?

You'll need to create a bootable ISO for it though and then do it from the boot menu.

one of the issues you'll probably run into is mismatching partition UUID which you need to modify for GRUB to boot again, at least that is the case for non-atomic Fedora

did you plug and unplug any monitors? does it ever switch panel types in the settings - like do you see the scaling options Steam gives you be dynamic or has it been consistently broken?
