Hi. I'd like to install universal blue on my 2nd drive (an HDD) and I have a few question. When I searched on how to install it, a guide says "we do not recommend users consume the base images directly on their devices" and "Universal Blue does not recommend or promote the usage of the base images for daily use".
I asked on Reddit for what Linux distro should I use for daily use and 1 recommended me Universal Blue. But now I'm confused. Should I install some other distro, or is Universal Blue (and more specifically bazzite) fine for daily use?
So bazzite and bluefin/aurora are base images or are recommended for daily use? Sorry, English isn't my native language and I want to be sure I understand what I read
bazzite. bluefin/aurora are our actual "products" they are meant for daily use and are built from the base images (silverblue, kinoite, etc) which are not meant for daily use
Oh, ok. Thanks for helping me understand. Which guide should I follow to install bazzite? Also, do I need to make a partition 1st or can I make a partition during installation like when installing Ubuntu?
if you absolutely need to have them on the dame drive (lets say you have only 1 ssd and 1 hdd) then you need to put the linux efi on the hdd and set the hdd as the boot drive, that way you avoid windows nuking the grub bootloader
