hey so I've been thinking about something that I haven't been able to figure out if it is incredibly dumb and wouldn't work, or is incredibly dumb and shouldn't be done, so
would it be possible to install nix packages on ublue, if the right setup was made by the system itself?

Generally a fairly standard setup, though I think the "META" right now us homebrew for cli apps and flatpaks for GUIs gets you 80% there and the rest with distroboxes

x11 doesnt even work on my destkop for whatever reason, dont even have a choice (and not complaining).

i did however manage to get mixed refresh rate working on my multi monitor setup back when i used awesomewm, and it was a hacky workaround but it worked

cant remember how i did it though, too long ago, set and forget.

my only gripe with wayland is each time i open obs, because of my layout i have to accept 5 portal popups and fix my scenes each time

since the sources will be capturing the wrong thing (since the portal popup doesnt tell me which scene i am currently selecting for)

@Kyle Gospo I calibrated screen with DisplayCAL flatpak on Gnome Wayland successfully.
Didn't know that it doesn't work in KDE Wayland the same way.
