RI know, but I've got mixed DPI monitors and I really like having Wayland. I might be able to live with the flickering until the nvidia drivers finally drop, which is why I'm asking if I can game on wayland with nividia right now.

Rso I'm trying out distrobox using boxbuddy as a GUI for it...but I assumed isntalled distros worked somewhat like a VM installation with it's own options for desktop enviroment options and such. Is that not the case and distros created through distrobox are terminal only?

Konly folders in distrobox that aren't shared are /usr and /var, and I think /opt
Kthey are containers, so you're basically just using the libraries and package manager of that distro
