Yeah it's to fix this, put Notepad++ into dark mode and the menu bar and a few other parts of the UI aren't themed, but I can't just hide the menubar because then it never unhides

Notepadqq looks pretty nice to me, I didn't realize that existed lol. I generally just use Kate for most files, unless I am working on a larger project I use VS Code. Might give qq a try as my default basic editor.

oh cool, this was the right option, I set the theme to (No Theme) and then hit apply, then I could customize all the item colors

Windows doesn't normally have support for btrfs, you have to install a driver for it, that is WinBTRFS

It's a funny new X11 bug, and they are being a little slow to fix it. Likely because it's no longer supported by KDE. For the time being you can systemctl shutdown/rebootsystemctl shutdown/reboot via a terminal
