SI installed Linux mint on my dying laptop for shits and giggles but I actually liked how it looked.

LYou should keep hopping till you’re satisfied! I did my time and hopped across a lot of distros. Ultimately, it’s about what you value the most. I value stability and performance which Bazzite fills both needs.
L@Kyle Gospo what are your thoughts on having a GUI that calls the rollback functionality of ostree? Would that make sense considering it would make Bazzite even friendlier to newbies?

HYou can either install regular Fedora with Cinnamon or create your own UBlue image with Cinnamon. There's no need to switch just for a different desktop environment
SI also think a Debian based distro would probably be more compatible/perform better in the long run Id think

SMost of the guides I see for stuff on Linux like obscure fixes only seem to have instructions for Debian OSes too lol
SMaybe a Debian distro will be better on an old computer due to it's long-term support instead of rolling release

3hey! i have 2 problems, the first one is pretty harmless, but discover is EXTREEEEMLY long to do anything, the 2nd tho, is much more annoying, gearlever isn't showing any of my appimages and i don't know where they are
SI think that behaviour in discover is normal
