YCan someone share picture of vpforce settings on rhino ? Long time ago I had to reset settings due some fault and since then I have feeling that my base is way weaker than out of the box . Thanks in advance
WYou can import Rhino default settings from the 'configs' directory alongisde the configurator app

ASomnium went bezerk on the optical quality, completely disregarded audio, and now want to sell at twice the price of pimax, even more expensive than varjo, both manufacturers who have had multiple generations on the market. DNo VR can be 3500€ good. Besides the GPU you need to run DCS with such VR is probably 25 years down the road

BPffff...those are stupid prices. The Crystal resolution is incredible, I personally wouldn't need anything much better than that unless it's significantly cheaper or has other advantages.

TKnowing sim racing marketing, there’s a good chance aluminum just refers to the housing and the 9nm is some peak torque level that isn’t close to actual or sustained force.
BOr they could refer to sustained as 'X' seconds until they overheat.
As always we can't trust just the marketing blurb.
Until confirmed through testing, even if its just 9nm at mount point for an impulse, if the price is competitive than it can still be excellent value, at least for helicopters.

JAm I going to have any issues with the Rhino using the TM F18 or F16 grips as long as I keep my extension 200mm or less?
TYeah no fans makes me wonder about overheat protection because thermal is just facts of life but if it’s cheap and gets more folks AND more importantly more games to pay attention to FFB data..

Aheavy TM grips with long extensions can be a challenge, but I haven't tested that myself so I don't really know
Ado note, however, that rhino basically comes with a built-in extension so if you add 20cm to that it's going to be a lot
BI got my rhino on a small pedestal barely 10cm off the floor, and my extension builds about 10cm more.
I still have to raise my arm to manage the grip, i can finger fly with my hand resting in my lap, so honestly could probably loose a few cm in height.
In short with a 20cm extension, the rhino will be on the floor.

JThanks, found the drawing - looks like about 290mm from the bottom of the base to the threads, so I would only need 100mm max, maybe less. I assume that would improve things.
TThere is a section in the manual on balancing heavier sticks or sticks that are off center because of a curve or Z off set extension so I’d for sure give it a read as well

MPossibly, though Moza racing bases seem to be honestly rated at sustained torque. Then there's companies like Simagic who's 10Nm on paper is actually 13Nm on a torque wrench.

WYeah, those are DIY defaults. Try importing the Rhino defaults .vpconf file and hit store config, should be good to go.

CYes it will be interesting what price they end up with. I can't imagine their software will be as good or as flexible. Seems like most companies software is half baked and takes a long time to update.
(I will take a goot bet it will look very similar to the market leading rhino FFB as they will back engineer it
