at this rate all we need is that xwayland fractional patch pulled in and things would be in a fantastic state. Fingers crossed, I'm gonna follow up on that and see if I can do more testing but i've been daily driving that patch for basically the last month or so now and it's basically flawless

couple frame drops here and there but that's more likely to be a shader caching issue than a driver issue, in my experience

The only issue IO have are the complete desktop freezes when there's a process with high I usage (copying files or updating via discover for example)

The only solution for the freezes is to force shut the PC

I suspect this is a 555 beta + system76 scheduler incompatibility, as it doesn't happen without it
